Learn about jazz every Wednesday night in March for a Lenten Book Study & Supper! Open to the public!

In his book A Supreme Love, theologian and jazz pianist William Edgar traces the development of jazz, placing it within the context of the African American experience, and exploring the work of jazz musicians like Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong. He argues that both the sorrow and the joy found in jazz resonate with the deep pain and incredible hope that stand at the heart of the Christian faith.
