Seeking a Children’s Minister

St. Michael’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Carlsbad is seeking applicants for the part-time position of Children’s Minister (infants – 6th Grade). Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:

• Partner with parents in the spiritual formation of their children.
• Provide pastoral care to children and their families.
• Work alongside church staff to help recruit, equip, and support lay leaders.
• Monitor the coordination and maintenance of curriculum, equipment, and facilities.
• Maintain consistent and regular ‘internal’ and ‘external’ communication.
• Maintain a calendar of events and activities related to spiritual growth, character development, and fellowship.
• Nurture one’s own spiritual formation and development and professional development.
