Children’s Chapel
Elementary-aged children are invited to participate in this special time of worship and learning. Children’s Chapel is held in the historical Chapel during the 10:00 am Mass, starting at the beginning of the service. Children will return to the Church during the Offertory to enjoy the remainder of the service with their families.
Youth Sunday
The 4th Sunday of each month is Youth Sunday. Children and youth are invited to serve as greeters, ushers, and lay readers during the 10:00 am Mass. Interested in serving on the Youth Sunday rotation? Contact Becky Gleason.
Acolytes
Acolytes carry out liturgical duties during Mass. Children and youth (first grade and up) serve at the altar and grow in faith and fellowship as members of St. Michael’s Worship Team. Interested in serving on the acolyte rotation? Contact the Worship Team.
Special Needs
St. Michael’s serves children with special needs by providing opportunities to fully participate in the life of our church. Children are integrated with special instruction and support.

Kids’ Cart & Quiet Bags
To serve families with young children, St. Michael’s has collected age-appropriate, purposeful activities for babies, preschoolers, and school-aged children. The hope is that these biblically and liturgically based resources would help in the integration of our youngest members into the life of worship. The Kids’ Carts are located at the main entrance to the church.
Playground
The ADA accessible playground contains a play structure, a toddler swing, a full-support swing, a dome climber, and a beloved climbing tree. The playground is available to children and families whenever there is activity at St. Michael’s! The playground is also open to the community anytime. Adult supervision of children is required.
Family Room
The Family Room is a calming space for parents and caregivers with young children. The room has visual and audio capabilities enabling families to enjoy full participation in worship. It is equipped with books and activities for babies and toddlers.
