The Altar Guild prepares and maintains the vessels and vestments used at the altar for worship services. Guild work provides a very special opportunity to serve the community at worship and meditate on the theological and liturgical mysteries of the ancient Christian faith.

Altar Guild positions and tasks include:

• Prepare the altar for worship (including weddings, baptisms, confirmations, and funerals)
• Maintain the altar linens, vestments, supplies, and church decor
