Set against the inspirational backdrop of Agua Hedionda Lagoon and the Pacific Ocean, Hospice of the North Coast’s Light Up A Life (LUAL) Memorial and Candle-Lighting Ceremony on December 10 from 5:30-7:00 pm will bring comfort, sustenance and hope to people grieving the loss of a loved one.

Guests should bundle up for the outdoor event at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Discovery Center, 1580 Cannon Road. Complimentary valet parking is provided. Light refreshments will be served. LUAL is offered at no cost; donations to support Hospice of the North Coast’s comprehensive array of end-of-life programs are greatly appreciated. Those donating $100 or more receive a personalized ornament.

A keynote speaker will share a message of joy, and music will fill the air. The inspirational evening culminates in a poignant candle-lighting ceremony in which bereaved guests, one by one, light a candle in honor of their loved one. Guests are transformed by their experience, making it a meaningful and memorable way to begin this year’s Christmas season.
