On Sunday, November 16th, SOUL youth gathered for a day of service and fellowship. We started off the afternoon by packing lunches for the St. Michael’s sack lunch ministry. This ministry serves our community by opening the kitchen for lunch each weekday. After a quick break, we took a few minutes to learn about Operation Christmas Child. This program sends boxes filled with gifts to children all over the world. We took a trip to a nearby store to pick out toys, hygiene products, and school supplies to pack in our boxes. By the end of the afternoon, SOUL youth had packed 200 sack lunches, and 55 gift boxes. It was a very successful day! Stay tuned for news from future Missions Madness events.
