As St. Michael’s prepares for this summer’s Vacation Bible School expedition, Everest, our hearts have been especially touched by the devastation in Nepal.
In recent summers, St. Michael’s VBS has partnered with local and international relief organizations through Operation Kid to Kid. Campers have responded with great intention and heart, providing prayer and financial support in earnest response to the message of the Gospel.
I am certain that the very deep needs in Nepal will speak to our expectant, compassionate campers. The providentially relevant Bible themes we plan to explore on this summer’s “expedition” (God has the power to provide, heal, and comfort) will surely help our campers process this tragedy.
Won’t you join our efforts as we advance the 2015 Operation Kid to Kid missions project? We will be partnering with a Christian humanitarian organization, World Vision*, to support their disaster relief efforts in Nepal.
Encourage your VBS camper to start saving coins now! Their offerings will provide blankets, cook sets, water, hygiene kits, tarps, and tents.
